Solar Swimming Pool Heating Systems

Solar pool heating can heat your swimming pool for up to six months annually without any energy costs. Especially here in Malta where we have 300+ days of sunshine

Typically, the use of an outdoor pool is reduced to two or three months because outside the summer season the water is too cold. A simple solar heating system can be custom designed for your swimming pool that extends the usable period of the swimming pool by about six months.

The heat is provided by an array of plastic collectors made of high-quality high density polyethylene (HDPE) which is connected to the filtering circuit of the swimming pool so that the full flow of pool water passes through the collectors.  The high flow enables the extraction of a large amount of energy and the pool water temperature can increase by about 10°C after passing through the collectors.
